Whalefall

Jay Gardiner dives off the central coast of California to retrieve his father’s remains, only to be swallowed by a massive sperm whale. Trapped inside the creature’s belly with a single hour of oxygen remaining, he confronts the immediate, suffocating reality of his situation. As the air runs low, Jay must rely on the hard-earned lessons Mitt Gardiner imparted, realizing that these past teachings may be the only path to escape.

The ordeal forces a reckoning with his inheritance, turning a personal search for closure into a desperate fight for survival. With every breath counting, the weight of his father’s influence becomes the central mechanism for his chance at survival, isolating him in a dark, confined space where external help is impossible and time is his only enemy.
