Lanterns

A murder in the American heartland binds Hal Jordan, a Lantern legend, and John Stewart, a new recruit, in a partnership that defies their usual orbits. Their cosmic duties become entangled with a dark, Earth-based mystery, forcing them to navigate a landscape where the comforts of the home front collide with the weight of their extraordinary responsibilities. As they dig deeper, the stakes extend beyond a single homicide, pulling them into a web of intrigue that challenges their understanding of justice and duty.

The investigation reveals that the line between the mundane and the metaphysical is thinner than expected, requiring Stewart and Jordan to reconcile their differing approaches to law enforcement. Their dynamic is tested not only by the complexity of the crime but by the very nature of the world they are sworn to protect.
