Other Mommy

Young Bela forms a relationship with a sinister entity in her home that looks uncannily like her own mother. This double, played by Jessica Chastain, draws her into a terrifying and increasingly dark world. As the boundary between the familiar and the hostile dissolves, Bela’s safety becomes precarious. The entity’s presence threatens not only her sanity but her physical reality, pulling her deeper into a nightmare where trust is impossible.

Jay Duplass appears as Daddo, while Arabella Olivia Clark portrays Bela, grounding the escalating horror in a domestic setting that feels constantly under siege. The dynamic between the child and the doppelgänger drives the tension, creating a suffocating atmosphere where every interaction carries the weight of potential danger. There is no safe haven in this household; the very walls seem to conspire against her, leaving her isolated in a reality that shifts and distorts with every passing moment.
